Mining – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering
The journal, which in the years 1962-2014 was published under the name “Mechanization and Automation of Mining”, is a scientific and technical journal, the subject area of which is related to the issues of mechanics, construction and operation of machines, automation and robotics, including mechatronics and control, electronics, including power electronics and IT, including telecommunications, telemetry and monitoring, as well as facility and functional safety.
Our mission is to inform our Readers about the latest developments in science and technology in the broadly understood mining industry. Articles published in our pages inform about the latest solutions used in mining, devices, systems and technologies implemented in the mining industry. The journal is also a forum for the exchange of ideas between the authors of research and construction works, and practitioners and users of these solutions from industry.
Mining – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering, is published quarterly. The original version of the journal is the electronic edition. Additionally, upon request of the readers, a paper version is also available.
Until 2017, the publisher of Mining – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering was the Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG in Katowice, and since 2017, the Publishers of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow have been the publisher.
